President Volodymyr Zelenskyi gave an order to liberate the coastal regions of Ukraine from the Russian military. Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said this in an interview with The Times.

Ukraine is amassing a million-strong military force equipped with Western weapons to de-occupy the South.

«The president has given the order to the supreme military chief the highest military leadership to develop plans. After that, the general staff are doing their homework and say to achieve this goal, we need XYZ... This is my job. I’m writing letters to counterparts in partner countries,» – says Oleksii Reznikov.

According to him, the liberation of the South has great political significance.

«We understand that, politically, it is very necessary for our country,» – the minister noted.

We will remind that weapons from Western partners for Ukraine finally worked powerfully on the front line. The defenders inflict significant blows on warehouses and important logistics points of the occupiers.
