Specialists carried out the examination on the territory of Bucha (northern part of the city), Vorzel, the village of Hostomel (housing complex «Pokrovskyi») and the villages of Ozera and Moshchun, as well as the Ivankiv territorial community (the villages of Ivankove, Babyntsi, the villages of Rudnya-Shpylivska, Shpyli, Bilyi Bereh, Rozvazhniv, Stanyshivka, Sukachi).

The route of the radiation examination took into account the information about the places where radioactive contamination could be detected, the information was received from local residents.

According to the results, there was no radioactive contamination of objects, premises and areas, which could be related to the activities of the occupiers. No increase in the ambient equivalent dose of gamma radiation was recorded in the surveyed territories. gamma radiation values measured during the vehicle gamma survey and by hand were up to 0.22 μSv/h, which corresponds to the natural background values characteristic of the area.

We will add that in general, during the measurements within the first phase of the project, the following were surveyed: 64 apartments; 105 private estates and outbuildings; more than 330 km of roads and streets; 20 parks and squares, more than 400 household items; items of military purpose.

At the same time, all the settlements of the Kyiv region were examined for the presence of explosive objects, these are about 270 cities, villages and towns. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Oleksii Kuleba.

«Today, special services examined all populated areas of the region, which were under occupation, for the presence of explosive objects. These are 270 cities, villages and towns within Buchanskyi, Brovarskyi and Vyshhorodskyi districts of the Kyiv region. Since the beginning of the work, the rescuers have neutralized 52,862 units of explosive-proof items,» – he explains.

According to Kuleba, about 8,462 km2 remain unexplored, of which 2,600 km2 are in the exclusion zone. «It will take years to fully complete this work in the Kyiv region. We will definitely do it,» – the OVA head assures.
