In the Kyiv region, 84 objects of cultural heritage, 24 religious buildings and 16 memorials were damaged. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Oleksii Kuleba.

«During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers destroy everything in their path. Not only social infrastructure objects were damaged and destroyed in the Kyiv region. Cultural institutions, monuments of historical heritage and religious buildings were also affected by shelling. Currently, we already have 84 objects of cultural heritage, 24 religious buildings and 16 memorials damaged,» – he explains.

Among them are leisure centers, libraries, houses of culture and club type, cinemas and institutions of art education.

«The occupiers not only purposefully destroyed buildings but also crushed the carriers of Ukrainian culture: books, towels, national costumes, tools and other objects of local museum funds,» – Kuleba adds.

We will remind you that a virtual Museum of war memory was launched in the Kyiv region, where the destroyed cities can be observed after hostilities and occupation by the Russian military. With the help of 3D tours, visitors will be able to get into the terrible reality that the war brought to Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Horenka and other towns and villages.
