The Russian forces are conducting a propaganda campaign in the temporarily occupied territories, aimed at making residents distrust the Ukrainian authorities and the possibility of liberation. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In particular, according to intelligence data, the management of large enterprises in Melitopol was instructed to hold meetings and discussions with staff, at which to prove the following information: «Ukraine has already been divided. In the territory of the western regions, Polish zlotys were put into circulation, in most shops, there are double price tags. There is nowhere to run from Russia. Ukraine is not what it used to be.»

Defence Intelligence notes that such measures are aimed at undermining the moral and psychological stability of the Ukrainian-minded population remaining in the city.

We will remind that on the 168th day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the Russian military invasion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled several attacks by Russian troops in the Kharkiv region and Donbas. At the same time, the threat of missile strikes on military facilities and critical infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine remains.
