Luhansk Region

Donetsk Region

Four people died and 10 were injured in the region during the day. At night – missile strikes on Slovyansk (a kindergarten was destroyed),

The rocket fell on the intersection: the road was damaged in Kostiantynivka, The building of the mechanical yard of the farm was damaged in Oleksandrivka.

During the day, the following were shelled: Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Velyka Novosilka, Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, Zhelanne Druhe, Karlivka, Sil station. The region remains without gas and partly without water and electricity. Mandatory evacuation of the population continues.

Kharkiv Region

At night, the occupiers launched rocket attacks on Kharkiv in the Kholodnohirskyi district. The landing sites are being examined, rockets hit the ground on the territory of one of the enterprises, several premises were damaged. There are no casualties.

During the day, the occupiers shelled Izyum, Kharkiv, and Bohodukhiv districts with artillery. One person died as a result of shelling in Ruska Lozova district of Kharkiv.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

The enemy hit the Nikopol district. One person was injured. As a result of the shelling, two villages and communities of Chervonohryhorivka were damaged, houses, a lyceum, gas furnaces and a power line were damaged. More than 2,000 people are without electricity, almost 5,000 without water. Emergency crews are already fixing everything.

Mykolayiv Region

Mykolayiv and the regions of the region were shelled over the past day. Yesterday evening, the village Zelenyi Hai was subjected to artillery shelling, as a result of which three residential buildings caught fire. No casualties so far.

At night, the enemy shelled the village Nova Mykolayivka. Commercial buildings were partially destroyed. There are no casualties. At midnight, enemy shelling of the outskirts of the village Kostyantynivka of the Pervomaiske community. There were no damages or injuries.

According to the information of Operational Commander Pivden, yesterday, September 1, the enemy launched an air-launched missile from an Su-35 fighter jet at the Berezneguvate community, which was destroyed by the Air Defense Forces. Also, during the past day, the surrounding territories of Berezneguvate, the villages of Vysunsk and Kavkaz were shelled. Information on the consequences of shelling is being clarified.

At night – shelling of the village Shyroke. The hits were in open areas and in an already destroyed residential building. There are no casualties.

Kherson Region

Explosions rang out in the region throughout the night and day. The air raid alert was announced several times again. Heavy fighting continues in the Kakhovsky and Beryslav districts, many settlements are on the verge of destruction.

Russian military and local collaborators continue organizing the referendum. They are currently recruiting «independent observers» to hold a pseudo-referendum. In particular, they plan to involve local collaborators, representatives of «friendly countries» and EU citizens.

The woman told CNN about it.

Olga, whose name has been changed to protect her identity, said working conditions at the station were «very stressful» and noted that Russian guards were often aggressive.

«God forbid you look at the security guard the wrong way. You could be thrown into the basement,» she said in a phone interview with CNN on Thursday, September 1.

According to Olga, employees are searched every day by the Russian military, so that they cannot bring phones, flash drives or memory cards to work.

Speaking from her home in the Russian-occupied town of Energodar, the woman said she stayed at home during the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) visit because, she said, she was frightened by the «constant shelling».

Olga said she wasn’t sure the IAEA mission would get the full picture, but hoped they would see «all the soldiers, equipment, helicopters and the damage caused by their shelling.»

Despite the IAEA visit, Olga said her future looks bleak.

«All our desires, our freedom, our needs and our will have been squeezed out of us, and we’re just waiting,» she said.
