Poland will help Ukraine with the reparation of its airports and expand railway connections. This was discussed during the conversation of the Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy of Poland, Marcin Horala, with the Ambassador of Ukraine, Vasyl Zvarych, Liga.net reports.

Warsaw can offer Kyiv expert consulting services regarding the implementation of investments related to airports, as well as their further development. To provide it, the Polish side maintains constant contact with representatives of the Association of Airports of Ukraine and directly with airports.

In addition to the Warsaw-Kyiv rail connection via the town of Yahodyn, the Polish side wants to propose a new route that will connect more Polish and Ukrainian cities. In addition, the Polish company «Central Communication Port» plans to build a railway connection Lublin – Zamosc – Belzec to the border.

«Such a route from the Ukrainian side of the border can be extended through Rava-Ruska to Lviv and Kyiv. And in the future – from the Carpathians to the Black Sea ports in Ukraine and Romania,» – the Polish government official emphasized.

It will be recalled that the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced that the EU will allocate EUR 18 billion in aid to Ukraine next year.
