44 cruise missiles shot down over Ukraine this morning
In particular, air defence forces destroyed five Russian missiles flying at the Lviv region.

This morning, October 31, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 44 enemy missiles of X-101/X-555 type. Totally, more than fifty of them were launched from Tu-95/Tu-160 strategic bombers operating from the Caspian direction, "West" Air Command reported. In particular, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 5 cruise missiles in the west of the country.


Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, and mobile fire groups of the formation are involved in combat work against cruise missiles.

"At 7:00 a.m. on October 31, the Russian occupiers launched several waves of missile attacks on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.


More than 50 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles were fired from Tu-95/Tu-160 strategic aviation missile-carrying aircraft from the north of the Caspian Sea and from the Volgodonsk region (Rostov region)," - the Ukrainian Air Force Command said in a statement.


Thus, 44 cruise missiles were destroyed by the forces and means of the Air Force in the areas of responsibility of the "Center" Air Command - 18 missiles, the "South" AC - 12 missiles, the "East" AC - 9 missiles, the "West" AC - 5 missiles.
