President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced the creation of the world's first naval drone fleet. The main task of these weapons is to protect the water area of Ukrainian seas and peaceful cities from cruise missiles launched by Russian ships. This was reported by the country's Ministry of Digital Transformation in Telegram

Naval drones have already been tested during the attack on the Russian fleet in Sevastopol and the destruction of three enemy ships. This is the first naval attack in history that was carried out exclusively by unmanned means.

"Ukraine needs 100 maritime drones. The cost of one is 10 million hryvnias. In one day, we plan to raise funds for 10 unmanned surface vehicles. The collection is held all over the world, and we also encourage businesses to join. Share the post, tell your friends. We will provide the occupiers with "blows" at sea, in the air and on land," - the Ministry urges.
