Since the beginning of the year, over 72,000 square meters of road surface have been restored in the Lviv region. This was reported by the Lviv Regional State Administration.
"With the onset of favorable weather, the region's road workers intensify their work every day. To eliminate damage quickly and efficiently, specialists use the method of laying continuous patches (maps)", the message reads.
In total, 72,815 m² of pavement have been repaired since the start of the construction season. On state roads, 48,420 m² were restored with hot asphalt concrete. On local roads, emergency potholing was eliminated over an area of 24,395 m², and 134 km of crushed stone and gravel roads were graded.

The largest volumes were completed on the roads Brody – Smorzhiv (7,500 m²), Davydiv – Tovshchiv – Bibrka (6,420 m²) and Stryi – Zhuravne (1,635 m²). Drivers are urged to be careful in work areas and follow temporary road signs.
