At a regular meeting of the Consultative Council under the Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Kyiv City State Administration, experts officially approved the concept for the restoration of the well-known estate at 22 Oleksandr Konyskyi Street. Currently, final procedures are underway, namely obtaining the necessary approvals and permits to begin the direct construction and restoration work on the site. This was reported reported by the director of the Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Kyiv City State Administration, Maryna Solovyova.
Preservation of Layout and Integration of Authentic Elements of the Estate
According to the specialized department, the concept approved by leading specialists provides for the complete preservation of the house's layout, its historical geometric parameters, architectural expressiveness, and facades.
The main task of the future work is to maximally integrate all surviving authentic elements into the updated space and the restored structure of the building. Experts have already developed a full package of scientific and project documentation, taking into account the accounting documentation of this cultural heritage object and in accordance with the strict requirements of heritage protection legislation.
