Between Kharkiv and Sumy, a huge group of Russian troops was formed and started moving in the direction of Kyiv. It no more exists, the adviser to the head of the President’s Office Oleksii Arestovych said on the air of the marathon of the Ukrainian channel, – Liga.net reports.
«A huge operative group was disbanded between Kharkiv and Sumy. It has gone now. It was partly killed, partly thrown near Kharkiv and stopped there, partly retreated and licked their wounds,» – he said.
Arestovych added that Russia’s operational capabilities are far from massive bombings and final assaults, if not assaults at all. According to him, in the last 24 hours, Russian troops have hardly advanced: in the Kharkiv region, they were driven out of Chuhuiv, beaten near Mykolayiv, and covered with artillery near Kyiv.
«It simply came to our notice then. The Russian army is not strong, it is just long. We will eat them slowly, like salami,» – Arestovych summed up.
It will be recalled that desertion among the occupiers is becoming widespread – the invaders are fleeing the army even on the way to Ukraine. The Russian captured technician made several «walks» from the Crimea to the Kherson and Nikolaev areas and saw well the scale of desertion.
