On March 31, 10:20 p.m., an air alarm sounded in the Lviv region until 11:17 p.m. Information about explosions in the Lviv region has appeared on some social networks, but was refuted by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
«Yesterday’s sounds came from a new gas field. Yesterday, due to security issues, this could not be reported. As it coincided with the air alarm signal, we had a conversation with the employees,» – the LRMA press service said.
LRMA chairman Maksym Kozytskyi officially stated this on his page too: «Do you remember yesterday’s sounds, similar to explosions, due to which many people in the Lviv region did not sleep at midnight? Today, I can finally announce: these are the sounds under which Russian gas will follow the course of their warship. Officially: a new gas field has been opened in the Lviv region! Later, we will only increase production!»
According to LRMA, they do not disclose the place where a new gas field was discovered in the Lviv region, but say that its production will be increased.
The head of LRMA added that a preventive conversation was held with the employees of the tower. He also urged residents of Lviv and the region to take care of information hygiene and not to disseminate unconfirmed information from suspicious Telegram channels and groups.
