«We met in the morning in Irpin. Disturbed people were hurryingly passing under the blown up bridge. I showed my machine gun to the girl who was crying in her mother’s hands, and she smiled back.

Then, at the last block post on the border between Irpin and Bucha, the boys caught a captive. The one who later convinced his mother that we had not invented the coronavirus. He was given a cigarette.

Then, the tank fired. It hit an apartment building near the bomb shelter. It was as dark as a church. There walked people, children, dogs, cats.

A woman on a bicycle approached the block post. She was wearing a short blue uniform of the «Epicenter» store. She drove fast. Without stops. She crossed the intersection of two streets. Empty and quiet, like on Christmas Eve. She was shot by the KPV heavy machine gun. They released the burst fire. The bicycle and the woman disappeared in smoke and dust.

Then, I hastily wrote a post. There were several reports from two girls. They were her daughters.

Her body lay for about a month on an empty street. Her nails, painted red, were visible from heaven.»
