Lviv residents prayed and lit candles in memory of hundreds of innocent Ukrainians killed near Kyiv and other territories temporarily occupied by russians.

On April 5 at 20:00, the memory of all innocent Ukrainians killed by the Russian occupiers was honoured in Lviv. In the city centre, people were praying and lighting candles. Anyone could also join the action in their homes.

All those gathered in the square near the Taras Shevchenko monument honoured the memory of the people brutally tortured in Bucha, Irpen, Borodyanka, Mariupol, Chernihiv and other cities of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that after the liberation of the Kyiv region from Russian aggressors, information appeared about war crimes committed by Russians in Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel with hundreds or thousands of killed, torn, raped civilians of Ukraine. More than half a thousand bodies of killed civilians have already been removed from the Kyiv region. They will be examined by forensic experts to document crimes committed by the Russian military.
