After the bombing of the Mariupol Drama Theater, those who hid in the bomb shelter managed to survive. This was reported by the former head of the Donetsk regional state administration Serhii Taruta.
«After a terrible night of uncertainty on the morning of the 22nd day of the war, finally good news from Mariupol! The bomb shelter endured. The rubbles have started to be dismantled, people are coming out alive!» – Serhii Taruta wrote.
It will be recalled that the Russian occupiers dropped a heavy bomb on the Mariupol Drama Theater, which became a shelter for about a thousand refugees who lost their homes. Azov fighters note that the aggressor doubtlessly knew that the drama theatre building has become a hiding place for hundreds of city residents who are left without a roof over their heads and livelihoods.
The private American company Maxar Technologies has released satellite images showing that on the ground near the Drama Theater in Mariupol, where the Russian military dropped a bomb on March 16, there were large inscriptions «Children» in Russian.
