As a result of another Russian attack on the capital, three people were killed and more than 20 were injured. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The greatest destruction was in Desnianskyi district, where a strike on a multi-storey building caused a fire over an area of 400 square meters. At this location, rescuers unblocked the bodies of two dead, rescued 16 residents, and provided assistance to 21 injured people, including a child. Another person was killed by a strike on a non-residential building in Holosiivskyi district.

Consequences of the enemy attack were also recorded in other parts of the city:

  • Dniprovskyi district: a fire broke out in a non-operating building as a result of a repeated strike;
  • Shevchenkivskyi district: a minor fire occurred after a strike on a single-storey structure;
  • Darnytskyi district: firefighters promptly extinguished a grass fire on the stadium grounds.

Rescuers continue to sort through the destroyed structures and eliminate the consequences of the shelling in three districts of the city. Psychologists from the SES are working at the scenes, having already provided assistance to 110 people.

At the same time, the enemy carried out a massive ballistic strike on energy facilities in Kyiv and the region, causing significant power supply disruptions. According to DTEK, due to damage to energy infrastructure, emergency power outages were introduced in Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi districts and part of Holosiivskyi district of the capital.

Recall that earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Ukraine and Russia had allegedly agreed on an "energy truce". Despite the fact that this announcement came as news to the Ukrainian authorities, President Volodymyr Zelensky ordered a halt to strikes on Russian refineries. That same night, Russians struck a thermal power plant in Kharkiv.

The White House later clarified that, in Trump's understanding, such a truce primarily involves stopping mutual strikes on oil refineries. Recall that Ukraine has only one refinery, and it has already been partially destroyed by Russian strikes.
