As of March 2, the total estimated losses of the Russian occupiers who invaded Ukraine on February 24 are 5,840 personnel. This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also among the losses:
- aircraft – 30 units,
- helicopters – 31 units,
- tanks – up to 211,
- armoured combat vehicles – 862,
- artillery systems – 85,
- air defence means – 9,
- MLRS – 40,
- fuel tanks – 60,
- UAV operational and tactical level – 3,
- light speedboats – 2 units,
- automotive equipment – 355.
The General Staff adds that the data is being clarified. The calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities.
It will be recalled that, according to the Pentagon, Russia has already introduced 80% of Ukraine’s combat potential, which was previously concentrated near the Ukrainian border. The occupiers are preparing to attack Kyiv and the environs of Kharkiv
