Since the start of Russia’s full-scale war, 90 children have been killed and more than 100 wounded in Ukraine. This was reported by the Office of the Attorney General.

Most victims were in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zhytomyr regions. Only yesterday in the Mykolaiv area, two children died and two more are wounded as a result of attacks of civil infrastructure.

In addition, the bombing and shelling damaged 379 educational institutions, 59 of which were completely destroyed. The largest number of destructions in the Donetsk region – 119 educational institutions. In Mykolayiv – 30, Sumy – 28, Kyiv – 35, Kherson – 21, in Kyiv – 24.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, these figures are not final, given the inability to inspect the places where the Russian armed forces are conducting active hostilities, and in the temporarily occupied territories. If someone has witnessed a Russian war crime, they are asked to record and send evidence here.

It will be recalled that the Lviv City Children’s Clinical Hospital accepts small patients from cities affected by Russian shelling. It provides round-the-clock assistance and counselling for each child. Since the beginning of the war, 100 children have been hospitalized and 300 consulted. In particular, a medical institution is treating a child who received shrapnel wounds as a result of shelling in the Kyiv region.

Children of temporarily displaced persons are also received by the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital OKHMATDYT. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, more than 90 children of immigrants have been taken here.
