A new bakery factory will be built in the Lviv district. A network used to be mainly concentrated in the centre and east of Ukraine, but relocated to the Lviv region because of hostilities. This was announced by the head of the economic policy department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Stepan Kuybida.

«I must mention the construction of a new bakery factory on the territory of the Lviv district, it will start soon. Earlier, the network of factories and sales points had been mainly concentrated in the east of Ukraine (Kharkiv and Kyiv),» – he says.

Initially, the plant will provide employment to about a thousand people.

We would like to add that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, 203 enterprises have relocated to the Lviv region, 130 of them are already working. The most relocated ones were in the following spheres: light industry – 39, mechanical engineering – 23, metalworking – 23, food industry – 21, chemical industry – 13, medicine – 11, construction – 9, furniture industry – 7, trade – 36, others – 21.

We will remind you that in the Lviv region, the first contract for the lease of state property was signed with the relocated enterprise. In a comment to Lviv Now, the Investment Policy Department in the Lviv region noted that it’s about the Kyiv company «Spetsbudmash», which is moving part of its facilities to the Lviv region. A new agricultural plant will also be built in the Lviv region, finding its location on the territory of the Truskavet community, in the village of Modrychi.
