The State Statistics Service has published the financial statements of domestic businesses for 2025. "EP" compiled a ranking of the 200 largest companies in the country, specifically those related to grocery retail.

The list includes thirteen food retail chains that earned 600 billion UAH, an increase of 18%.

"ATB-market" remains the absolute leader: 247 billion UAH (18%), which is almost twice as much as its competitors.

"Silpo-food" received 106 billion UAH (14%), "Fora" – 44 billion UAH (27%).

Discounter "Thrash" from the same group grew by 50% over the year.

The French chain Auchan showed zero growth:

"For hypermarkets, this means a drop in real volumes: a large sales floor during constant air raid alerts and blackouts is not very convenient. The winner is the one who is closer to home, has a smaller average receipt, and more locations."

As a reminder, the Lviv-based store chain "Blyzenko" entered the ranking of the largest grocery retailers in Ukraine for 2025, compiled by Forbes Ukraine. The total revenue of the 10 companies in the ranking exceeded 400 billion UAH, and the Lviv chain stood out with the fastest growth in the number of retail outlets.
