Ukrainians in Great Britain, Canada, and the USA will soon be able to receive foreign passports, issued at Ukrainian embassies and consulates, through VFS Global service centers. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The MFA noted that together with VFS Global, they have completed the preparation of an experimental project for the targeted delivery of foreign passports issued at Ukraine's diplomatic missions abroad.
Thanks to this, Ukrainians in the USA, Canada, and Great Britain will be able to receive ready passports not only at embassies or consulates, but also at 35 VFS Global service centers. This will make it possible to avoid traveling back to the diplomatic mission just to collect the document.

Passport issuance will take place after a mandatory identity verification procedure to guarantee the protection of personal data and avoid possible abuses.
The project is being implemented as part of the digitalization of consular services and the development of the "eConsul" system. It will start operating in pilot mode as early as next week. When applying for a passport at diplomatic missions, Ukrainians will be able to choose the option of receiving the document at a VFS service center.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that they plan to expand such services in the future so that Ukrainians abroad have more convenient access to government services regardless of their country of residence.
