Modernized Aeroprakt A-32 ultralight aircraft will be used to protect the airspace over the capital region. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Mykola Kalashnyk.

Technological features of the modernized A-32 aircraft

According to him, the implementation of new technologies is part of the systematic strengthening of the region's defense, which allows for faster detection and more effective destruction of aerial targets.

"Alongside the 'Clean Sky' project, within which specially trained crews successfully intercept enemy drones on a ground-to-air basis, we are implementing new technological solutions with a group of developers for the defense of the Kyiv region on an air-to-air basis as part of scaling up our project with interceptor drones.",” reported the head of the RMA.

According to the published photos, one Aeroprakt A-32 aircraft can carry up to six interceptor drones.

A separate priority area of modernization is the automation of processes and the transition to remote control. In particular, this involves the deployment of modern turret systems. This allows operators to perform combat missions while at a significant distance from the complex's operating area, which significantly increases the safety level of personnel.
