In the Podilskyi district of the capital, rescuers have unblocked another body from the rubble of a nine-story building, which suffered the most damage during a massive enemy attack. Emergency search and rescue operations at the impact site do not stop for a minute and continue around the clock. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.
Round-the-clock work and assistance to victims at the scene of the tragedy
Rescuers are disassembling the dangerous reinforced concrete structures of the damaged building step by step, trying to find those who are still considered missing. In parallel with clearing the debris, large-scale work to assist people who have lost their loved ones and their homes has been organized in the emergency zone.

In total, the combined Russian strike on Kyiv and the region has claimed the lives of 15 people, and the identification process of the deceased is ongoing. The number of injured residents in the capital agglomeration is almost 60, including five children. All victims are receiving necessary medical assistance in hospitals and on-site.

Given the scale of the tragedy, July 7 has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv. Flags will be lowered on municipal buildings, and entertainment events will be completely prohibited. The epicenter of the search operation remains the Podilskyi district, where structural damage to a residential building from the ninth to the fifth floor has been recorded.
