Due to the large-scale destruction of private and apartment buildings, dozens of families were left homeless, and the death toll increased due to the death of one of the injured in the hospital. This is reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Increase in the number of victims and the condition of the injured in hospitals
Unfortunately, doctors could not save all those injured during this brutal attack. A man who sustained serious injuries directly from the Russian strike died in a medical facility, bringing the total number of deaths in the city to nine people.
As of the evening, 18 injured residents remain in hospitals in the capital region, receiving all necessary qualified assistance. Deputies of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, representatives of the local community, rescuers, police officers, utility workers, energy workers, and gas distribution network operators coordinated work at the tragedy site throughout the day.
Categories of damage and housing recovery plans
Specialists have already conducted a preliminary inspection of the damaged structures and divided the houses into three main categories for further reconstruction. The first group includes 115 properties with minor damage, where owners can receive financial compensation for self-repair within the framework of state guarantees.
The second category includes 47 houses that require serious capital repairs. The most critical situation is with properties in the third category – 91 completely destroyed houses, which will need to be replaced with new housing.
The restoration of buildings in the second and third categories is planned to be fully financed by the state and regional budgets. The authorities also plan to restore two damaged apartment buildings and external utility networks in the quarter.

Overall scale of destruction in residential and business sectors
As of now, special commissions have recorded damage to 253 private residential buildings and 27 apartment buildings, with 1692 windows blown out by the blast wave and debris. The enemy shelling also caused serious damage to local businesses, as 65 appeals regarding damaged property have been received from business representatives.

As the work of the relevant commissions in Vyshneve is still ongoing, the final scope of destruction and material damage continues to be clarified. Over 200 utility workers, dozens of units of special equipment, and representatives of charitable foundations worked at the site today to clear the area and assist citizens.

Assistance to affected residents and organization of daily life
Temporary housing has been promptly organized for the townspeople who lost their homes due to the shelling. Currently, 60 people are housed in prepared temporary accommodation facilities, and another 160 people have chosen to stay temporarily with relatives and friends. The available reserve of places for accommodating victims remains sufficient and will be promptly increased as needed.
In addition to housing, people were also provided with food – thanks to the work of Oleg Bibikov's food truck, three hot meals a day were successfully organized for everyone who wanted them. The main task for all services remains to provide the quickest possible assistance to every family, to provide them with housing, support, and to restore damaged infrastructure.
