The Kyiv region received the first batch of 30 modern buses from the French region of Île-de-France. This was reported by KOVA.
The received buses have already begun to be distributed among the territorial communities of the region. In particular, the first units of equipment have already arrived in the Bila Tserkva and Vasylkiv communities, and recently the Boyarka community also received transport.

The main feature of using these buses is their social focus: they will operate on internal routes within settlements, and travel in them will be completely free for local residents. This will significantly improve logistics within communities and support the population during a difficult period.
In addition to passenger transport, part of the French aid was used to strengthen the energy and social security of the region. Ten of the received buses underwent special conversion and turned into mobile support points.

These special vehicles are designed for rapid assistance in case of emergencies. They can quickly arrive in areas where people need heat and communication. Each such mobile point is equipped with everything necessary for autonomous functioning:
- autonomous power and heating systems;
- internet access;
- mobile phone charging stations;
- facilities for preparing and serving hot food and drinks.
The current delivery is only the beginning of a major cooperation project. In total, the French region of Île-de-France has committed to transferring 260 buses to the Kyiv region. The rest of the transport will arrive in the region gradually, which will allow for covering critical transport needs and creating an extensive network of aid points throughout the region.
