Russia is concentrating a large amount of military equipment near the borders with Ukraine and in the occupied territories. In particular, these are missile launch containers with anti-aircraft guided missiles for the S-300, the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
«At the beginning of August, echelons with ammunition in 28 wagons, containing missiles for the S-300 air defense system in the amount of 32 anti-aircraft missiles, left Ulan-Ude. The echelon will approximately arrive at the border with Ukraine on 20th. Also, by mid-August, more than 120 containers with missiles for the S-300 air defense system were removed from the complex storage arsenal of missiles, ammunition and explosive materials in Kotovo,» – the message reads.

Note that in Belarus, 22 km from the border with Ukraine, a concentration of missiles for S-300 was noticed, with the total number of missile launch containers exceeding 60 units. The administration added that the threat of massive shelling of the Ukrainian territory on Independence Day, at least with S-300 missiles, is obvious.
