Today, July 6, marks three years since the tragedy on Stryiska Street in Lviv, where 10 people died as a result of a Russian attack.
Lviv commemorated the memory of the tragedy's victims with a joint prayer. This was reported by Andriy Moskalenko, the first deputy mayor of Lviv.

Last year, at the site was installed a memorial plaque with photos and names of 10 deceased people.

Recall that on July 6, 2023, one of the largest shelling of Lviv took place, which resulted in the deaths of 10 people and injuries to 48 others. At that time, 17 buildings were damaged on Stryiska Street (and buildings No. 62, 64, 66, 68 were practically destroyed); 17 roofs were damaged, and approximately 3,000 windows were broken.
Initially, anti-emergency demolition work was carried out in the four most affected buildings, then conservation work, and then the destroyed floors were rebuilt. As of now, all the work here has been completed, with the exception of completing the facade finishing work on the exterior. It was important to return the buildings to the state they were in when they were built 100 years ago, as they are a UNESCO heritage site.
