In Kyiv, the number of casualties as a result of the massive Russian attack has increased to 87 people, including three minors. This is reported by reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital suffered the most destruction. As a result of a hit, the entrance to a five-story residential building was completely destroyed there. During search and rescue operations at this location, SES rescuers unblocked the bodies of two deceased women from under the rubble.
In total, destruction and damage to infrastructure objects of varying degrees were recorded in 49 places throughout the city.

Course of rescue operation
Emergency services are working continuously at the impact sites. Rescuers have already dismantled 165 square meters of damaged reinforced concrete slabs that threatened to collapse or blocked access to destroyed premises.
Canine units were involved in the search operations, which surveyed over 100 square meters of territory to detect people under the debris. In parallel, psychological support points were set up at the sites - SES specialists have already provided emergency assistance to 112 citizens who were in the affected area.
The elimination of the consequences of the massive strike on the capital is currently ongoing.
Consequences of massive air terror
We remind you that on the night of May 24, Russian troops carried out a massive strike on Kyiv using 90 missiles of various types, including 36 ballistic missiles, as well as about 600 attack drones.
The main targets of the enemy were ordinary residential buildings, schools, water supply facilities, one of the oldest food markets in the capital, as well as transport network buildings, including the entrances to the "Lukianivska" and "Khreshchatyk" metro stations.

The city's historical heritage in the center and on the Podil suffered significant destruction. The explosion waves damaged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, the National Art Museum, and the office of the German media ARD.
